Leinkuchen
Es handelt sich hierbei um die nach der Pressung der Ölsaat ver-
bleibenden Feststoffe inklusive dem nicht ausgepressten Ölanteil. Leinkuchen ist protein- und relativ faserreich. Er enthält gegenüber Leinextraktionsschrot mehr Restfett. Ungefähr 2/3 des Fettgehalts bestehen aus PUFA, mit der Besonderheit eines hohen Anteils der ω3-Fettsäure C18:3 (α-Linolensäure). Die Linolensäure wird bei Verabreichung von Leinkuchen im Tier bzw. tierischen Produkten angereichert, was in Spezialfällen bezweckt wird.
